Abstract

Psoriasis in mammals is relieved by topically administering substituted naphthaquinones of the formula: ##STR1## where R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are the same or different and are hydrogen, hydroxy, alkoxy or acylamino and R.sup.3 is hydrogen, halo, cyano or alkoxy with the proviso that R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are not both hydrogen.
