Abstract

Pharmaceutical, cosmetic and pesticidal compositions containing a trifluoroacetyl-resorcinol of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.2 and R.sub.4, which may be identical to or different from each other, are each hydrogen or methyl, and PA0 R.sub.3 and R.sub.5, which may be identical to or different from each other, are each hydrogen or ethyl.
