Abstract

With a remote controllable rearview mirror for vehicles or the like, the mirror plate is suspended without play by means of pivotally-moveable articulations on at least two, preferably three points, which points are arranged spaced from one another, whereby one suspension point is stationary and connected rigidly with the mirror housing, while one or the other suspension points is fastened respectively on one swingable arm, which arm simultaneously can be formed as a transmission member of the control device, and is constrained for guidance in the plane of pivoting under friction such that there is present a quasi-rigid connection of the mirror plate with the mirror housing.
