Abstract

Chromane derivatives of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 to R.sup.4, which need not be identical, each represents hydrogen, an optionally substituted alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, aralkyl or alkoxycarbonyl radical, carboxyl or aminoalkyl, PA1 R.sup.2 can alternatively represent amino or optionally substituted dialkylamino, or R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 conjointly with the adjoining carbon atoms can form an optionally substituted carbocyclic or heterocyclic ring, PA1 R.sup.5 to R.sup.8, which need not be identical, each represents hydrogen, halogen, hydroxyl, nitro, cyano, carboxyl, an optionally substituted alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, aralkyl, alkoxy, aralkoxy, aryloxy, alkoxycarbonyl, alkylamino or dialkylamino radical, amino or acylamino, and two of the radicals, which are in the o-position to one another, can represent tetramethylene or the radical --CH.dbd.CH--CH.dbd.CH--, and PA1 X represents OH or the --NR.sup.9 R.sup.10 radical, wherein PA2 R.sup.9 and R.sup.10, which may be identical or different, each represents hydrogen or optionally substituted alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or aralkyl, or R.sup.9 and R.sup.10 conjointly with the adjoining nitrogen atom form a …
