Cyclopropanecarboxylic acid-phenoxy-.alpha.-vinyl-benzyl esters of the formula ##STR1## in which Y is chlorine or bromine, and R.sub.1 is --CH.dbd.CH.sub.2 or ##STR2## processes for producing them, and their use in combating pests.
