Abstract

Substituted 5-phenylcarbamoyl-barbituric acids of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 represents hydrogen or alkyl, PA1 R.sup.2 represents hydrogen or alkyl, PA1 R.sup.3 represents halogenoalkyl, or phenyl substituted by halogenoalkyl, PA1 X represents oxygen or sulphur, PA1 Y represents halogen or halogenoalkyl, and PA1 n represents 0, 1 or 2, or PA1 X--R.sup.3 and Y in the ortho-position to one another conjointly may alternatively represent the --O--CF.sub.2 --O--CF.sub.2 -- group, or salts thereof with a physiologically tolerated base, which possess insecticidal properties.
