Abstract
A batchwise process for dyeing hydrophobic fibres at 110.degree. C. to 135.degree. C. with a disperse dye in the presence of an adduct of an average of 1 to 4 molar proportions of ethylene oxide, propylene oxide or styrene oxide or a combination of these oxides with 1 molar proportion of a phenol compound having the formula ##STR1## in which n is a number from 1 to 4, PA0 R.sub.1 is hydrogen, chlorine an alkyl group with 1 to 8 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group with 1 to 8 carbon atoms or an alkenyl group with 2 to 8 carbon atoms. PA0 R.sub.2 is an alkyl group wtih 1 to 8 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group with 2 to 8 carbon atoms, a cyclo-alkyl group with 5 to 8 carbon atoms which is optionally substituted by one or more alkyl groups containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, a cycloalkyl group with 5 to 8 carbon atoms, an aralkyl group containing 7 to 9 carbon atoms which is optionally substituted by an alkyl group with 1 to 4 carbon atoms in the aromatic ring, an aralkenyl group containing 2 or 3 carbon atoms in the alkenyl part, a hydroxymethyl or a COOR.sub.3 group in which R.sub.3 is phenyl optionally substituted by alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, aryloxyalkyl in which the alkyl part contains…
