Abstract

Disclosed are high melt strength, blow-moldable polymers that can be formed into bottles, tubing, film and the like. The polymers are copolyetheresters having an inherent viscosity of from 1.0 to about 2.5 comprising PA0 A. a dicarboxylic acid component consisting essentially of 1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid, and PA0 B. a diol component comprising PA1 (1) at least 70 mole percent 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol, and PA1 (2) from about 15 to about 60 weight percent, based on the weight of the polyetherester, of polypropyleneether glycol having a molecular weight of 1000 to 4000.
