Abstract

An installation for storing and recovering heat energy having a principal application in solar power stations. The heat produced is stored in a storage reservoir when the converted energy demanded is less than the heat energy produced, and recovered in the opposite case, these operations being carried out entirely automatically. The heat transfers are effected through a thermofluid able to flow by streaming over containers of any shape, enclosing a heat storage substance, and disposed loosely or methodically in said storage reservoir.
