Abstract

The instant invention relates to an aqueous silicone polyester resin system having a silicone content of at least 30% by weight, based on the solid binder, comprising a polyester resin having an acid number of from 50 to 170; a silicone precondensate with SiOH or SiOR-functionality; or a silicone-polyester-combination resin; having from 0 to 80% by weight, based on the solid binder, of an organic solvent; from 0 to 10% by weight, based on the solid binder, of an emulsion or dispersion auxiliary; a nitrogen base; and optionally at least one pigment or filler. The invention relates also to the production of the silicone polyester-resin system and to the use of the resin in aqueous lacquer materials.
