Abstract

Quinolonecarboxylic acid derivatives of the formula ##STR1## wherein the grouping ##STR2## is independently in the 6-, 7- or 8-position of each of the quinolone residues; PA0 m and n independently are each 1-4; PA0 R.sub.1 is hydrogen or alkyl of 1-6 carbon atoms; PA0 R.sub.2 is hyrogen, alkanoyl of 1-8 carbon atoms or benzoyl; and PA0 X is hydrogen, alkyl of 1-6 carbon atoms or the cation of a base which produces a physiologically acceptable salt with the quinolonecarboxylic acid, have valuable pharmacological properties.
