Abstract
A forged mowing finger for use in mowers having reciprocable cutter blades has a body which is elongated transverse to the direction of reciprocation of the cutter blades and which has a surface adapted to face and coact with the cutter blades. The surface is bounded by lateral faces which define with the surface respective cutting edges. The lateral faces each include with the surface of the body a cutting angle which is smaller than 90.degree.. A method of making such a finger is also provided.
