Abstract

1, Arylamino-2,4-dinitronaphthalenes of the formula ##STR1## in which R each independently is hydrogen, alkyl, halogenoalkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, alkoxy, alkylmercapto, alkylsulphonyl, sulphonate, halogenoalkoxy, halogenoalkylmercapto, acylamino, alkoxycarbonyl, phenylazo, halogen, CN or nitro, or two radicals R in orthoposition to one another can, conjointly with the two adjoining carbon atoms of the phenyl ring, form an optionally halogen-substituted 1,3-dioxane ring, and PA0 n is 1,2,3,4 or 5 which possess arthropodicidal, fungicidal and bactericidal properties.
