Abstract

Herbicidal compositions containing as active ingredients (1) 3-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-1,1-dimethylurea of the formula ##STR1## and (2) at least one N-substituted halogenoacetanilide of the general formula ##STR2## in which R.sup.1 represents methyl or ethyl, PA1 R.sup.2 represents hydrogen or methyl and PA1 R.sup.3 represents hydrogen or methyl, are very useful for selectively combating weeds.
