Abstract
Compounds of the formula EQU R--CONH--CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --O--CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --O--CH.sub.2 --CHOH--CH.sub.2 --O].sub.n H wherein R represents an aliphatic radical or mixture thereof, linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated, optionally carrying one or more hydroxyl groups, having from 8 to 30 carbon atoms, of natural or synthetic origin; and n representing a whole or decimal number from 1 to 5 represents the average degree of condensation.
