Abstract

A process for producing red metal corrinoids comprising reacting yellow metal-free corrinoids having main absorptions .lambda..sub.max of 480 and 290 nm, in a liquid medium, with complex-forming metal ions to give yellow metal corrinoids, and alkalizing said metal corrinoids by treatment with an alkali.
