Abstract
Triazolone herbicides of the formula: ##STR1## where V is hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine, bromine, methyl or OR where R is alkyl of 1-4 carbon atoms; PA1 X is hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine, bromine, cyano, methyl, methoxy, or nitro; PA1 Y is hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine, bromine, or methyl; PA1 n, m is 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4; PA1 Q is oxygen or sulfur; PA1 Z is oxygen, S(O).sub.p or NR'; PA1 p is 0, 1 or 2 and PA1 R' is alkyl of 1-3 carbon atoms with the provisos that PA1 (1) n+m=2, 3, or 4; and PA1 (2) if n+m=2 or 4 then Y, X.noteq.H PA1 and when Z is S(O)p, n is 1, 2, 3 or 4.
