Abstract
An implantable drug depot for the treatment of diseases of the bone or bone marrow. The depot consisting of a matrix in which at least one active ingredient is incorporated and contains at least one adjuvant agent to control the kinetics of the drug release. The matrix material consists of resorbable sintered calcium phosphate composed of CaO and P.sub.2 O.sub.5 in a ratio between 5:1 and 2:1.
