Abstract
4Na.sub.2 SO.sub.4.2H.sub.2 O.sub.2.NaCl, having improved alkaline stability, is produced by crystallizing it in the presence of a stabilizing quantity of a soluble, organic polyphosphonate which is taken up in the crystalline structure of the compound. The stabilized product is useful as a peroxygen bleaching agent in alkaline bleach systems.
