Abstract

A color photographic light-sensitive material containing, in a photographic layer, a coupler and at least one compound represented by the formula (I), or at least one bis-compound (inclusive spirobis-compound) thereof, ##STR1## wherein Z represents an alkylene group having from 1 to 3 carbon atoms which can be substituted with one or more of hydrogen, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, a.dbd.S group or a.dbd.O group; and R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, and R.sub.4 each represents hydrogen, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, an alkylthio group, an acyl group, an acylamino group, a sulfonamido group, a diacylamino group, a carboxy group, a sulfo group, or a hydroxy group, or R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 together form a group represented by ##STR2## (wherein Z has the same meaning as Z in formula (I)) or a 5-membered or 6-membered hydrocarbon ring or hetero-cyclic ring is described. The compounds represented by formula (I) are effective in preventing the fading of dye images formed upon color development of the color photographic light-sensitive material and the occurrence of yellow stain in no…
