Abstract

A covering adapted to be worn on the body of a person and formed of a fabric having an inner and an outer surface. Each of the surfaces includes a moisture barrier thereon. Each moisture barrier includes a multitude of small openings therein exposing the moisture absorbent material to the air trapped between the covering and the body of the person. One of the barriers is metallized to reflect radiant-energy and the other barrier is darkly colored to absorb radiant-energy. In one embodiment, the covering is arranged to be releasably secured within a conventional garment to absorb moisture trapped therein. In another embodiment, the covering forms a garment itself.
