Abstract
What is disclosed are a liquid coating and binding agent, hardenable under the influence of ultraviolet radiation, comprising an oligomer of the formula EQU [(CH.sub.2 .dbd.CHCOO).sub.m ROOCC.sub.2 H.sub.4 ].sub.2 S or EQU [(CH.sub.2 .dbd.CHCOO).sub.m ROOCC.sub.2 H.sub.4 S].sub.p R', and a method for its preparation by the reaction of hydrogen sulfide or of a polymercaptan of the formula EQU R'(SH)p with a polyacrylic acid ester of the formula EQU (CH.sub.2 .dbd.CHCOO).sub.m+1 R.
