Abstract
A liquid flame retardant composition consisting essentially of: PA1 A. A polybrominated diphenyloxide containing about 4 to 9 nuclearly substituted bromine atoms and; PA1 B. A C.sub.10-24 aliphatic hydrocarbon polybrominated and polychlorinated to contain about 10 to 50 weight percent of bromine and about 5 to 60 weight percent of chlorine; the weight ratio of A to B ranging from about 5:1 to 1:5, optionally combined with a flame-retardant synergist such as antimony oxide.
