Abstract
A luminaire includes a light source and a reflector for reflecting light emitted by the light source in desired directions. The reflector includes a first region having a smooth reflecting surface and a second region having a plurality of reflecting surface units each having opposite side slanted portions. Each of said regions is constructed by a multi-layer structure. The structure includes a base member, a high reflecting film deposited on the base member, and a transparent protective film deposited on the high reflecting film.
