Abstract
A composition and a method for regulating the plant-metabolism, especially for promoting the abcission of citrus fruit and olives are disclosed, which use as active component a sulphonyl ester of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is an alkyl, alkenyl, phenyl naphthyl, diphenyl or thienyl radical, PA1 X is oxygen or sulphur and PA1 Hal is a halogen atom.
