Abstract
This invention relates to novel compounds of antimicrobial activity of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is an aliphatic hydrocarbon group which may have suitable substituents, PA0 R.sup.2 is carboxy or protected carboxy, PA0 R.sup.5 is hydrogen or hydroxy, PA0 X.sup.1 and X.sup.2 are each halogen, and PA0 the dotted line represents cepham or cephem nucleus, or a salt thereof.
