Abstract

Herbicidal substituted N-pyrazolylmethyl-haloacetanilide compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein Hal is halogen; PA0 R is alkyl, cycloalkyl, haloalkyl, alkoxyalkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl or optionally substituted phenyl; PA0 R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are individually selected from hydrogen, alkyl, halogen or alkoxy; and PA0 X.sup.1, X.sup.2 and X.sup.3 are individually selected from hydrogen or alkyl, and acid addition salts and metal salt complexes of such compounds.
