Abstract
An abrasive disk comprising abrasive grains such as corundum, a bonding material, for example a resin, and a filler material. At least part of the filler material is active in the grinding process. Particles of this filler material are provided in the disk in the form of pellets or granules. The pellets and granules preferably consist of more than one substance. One substance forms a matrix and at least one other substance is imbedded in said matrix.
