Abstract

The invention relates to new 2,3-dihydro-4-pyrone derivatives. These compounds correspond to the formula: ##STR1## in which R.sub.2 represents an alkyl radical (C.sub.2 -C.sub.3) and R.sub.3 represents and alkyl radical (C.sub.1 -C.sub.4), an alkenyl radical (C.sub.3 -C.sub.5) or an alkynyl radical (C.sub.3 -C.sub.5). They can be used for destroying weeds in crops, in particular sunflower and cotton crops.
