Abstract
This invention is concerned with the plaster industry and, more precisely, with the elimination of excess water in objects containing hydratable calcium sulphate and water. It offers to subject the said objects to a high efficiency thermic drying before the end of the hydration of the calcium sulphate, and to stop the said drying, while allowing enough water for the continuation of hydration to remain in the objects. It is applied, more specifically, to the manufacture of plaster board.
