Abstract
An antiphlogistic analgesic adhesive which comprises PA1 a flexible substrate and PA1 an indomethacin containing pressure-sensitive adhesive layer closely contacting said flexible substrate, wherein said pressure-sensitive adhesive layer comprises a mixture of PA2 (a) indomethacin, PA2 (b) a copolymer of (i) an alkyl acrylate having 4 to 11 carbon atoms in the alkyl moiety and (ii) a functional monomer having a functional group in the molecule thereof and/or a vinyl monomer, which has pressure-sensitive adhesive properties at room temperature, and PA2 (c) an absorption accelerating assistant which maintains said indomethacin in a solubilized state in said copolymer and has skin diffusibility.
