Abstract
2-Pyridyloxyacetanilides of the formula ##STR1## in which X is hydrogen, halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 halogenoalkyl, PA0 R is C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, PA0 Y each independently is halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxy or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 halogenoalkyl, and PA0 n is 0, 1, 2 or 3 which possess herbicidal and plant-growth regulating activity.
