Abstract

An electrophotographic sensitive material is described comprising an electrophotographic sensitive layer containing a compound represented by the formula (1) ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each represents an unsubstituted or substituted straight chain or branched chain alkyl group having from 1 to 12 carbon atoms, an unsubstituted or substituted straight chain or branched chain aralkyl group having from 7 to 20 carbon atoms or an aryl group consisting of a monovalent group consisting of an unsubstituted or substituted monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbon or polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon having from 2 to 4 nuclei from which a hydrogen atom is removed; R.sup.3 represents an unsubstituted or substituted straight chain or branched chain alkyl group having from 1 to 12 carbon atoms, an unsubstituted or substituted aralkyl group having from 7 to 20 carbon atoms or an unsubstituted or substituted aryl group; and R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 each represents an unsubstituted or substituted straight chain or branched chain alkyl group having from 1 to 12 carbon atoms, an unsubstituted or substituted nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound from which a hydrogen atom is removed, a halogen atom, an…
