Abstract

A novel, purified peptide having the following amino acid sequence: PA0 Arg-Ser-Leu-Gln-Asn-Thr-Glu-Glu-Lys-Ser-Arg-Ser-Phe-Pro-Ala-Pro-Gln-Thr-Asp -Pro-Leu-Asp-Asp-Pro-Asp-Gln-Met-Thr-Glu-Asp. The peptide may be used as medicament, e.g., in the treatment of gastroduodenal ulcers.
