Abstract
An apparatus for controlling the proportion of air and fuel in the air-fuel mixture of the internal combustion engine includes a carburetor having a main system fuel tube, a main system air-bleeding passage, a slow system fuel tube and a slow system air-bleeding passage, and an electromagnetic control valve having an air-inlet port, a first outlet port communicating with the main system air-bleeding passage and a second outlet port communicating with the slow system air-bleeding passage, and internally provided with a moving-coil type linear motor. The electromagnetic control valve is adapted to cause the first outlet port to start to communicate with the air-inlet port a predetermined period of time after the second outlet port has started communicating with the air-inlet port, when an analog electric signal is applied to the linear motor.
