Abstract
This invention relates to .alpha.-hydroxy phosphonates which are useful as herbicides. More particularly, this invention relates to .alpha.-hydroxy phosphonates a process for preparing the same, herbicidal use thereof, and to herbicidal methods and compositions employing the same.
