Abstract

Novel substituted N-3-(3-chloro-5-trifluoromethyl-2-pyridyloxy)-phenyl-N'-benzoylureas of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is fluorine, chlorine, bromine or methyl, and PA0 R.sub.2 is hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine or bromine, processes for producing these compounds and compositions containing them for use in combating pests, particularly in combating insects which infest plants and animals. The novel compounds are especially effective against larval stages of insects which damage plants by eating.
