Abstract
This invention relates to 1'-[3-(1,2-benzisoxazol-3-yl)propyl]spiro[benzofuran-2(3H),3' or 4'-piperidines or 3'-pyrrolidines] of the formula: ##STR1## where X and Y are the same or different and are hydrogen, halogen, lower alkoxy, lower alkyl, nitro, hydroxyl and CF.sub.3 ; and n is an integer of 1 or 2; m is an integer of 2 or 3; and the sum of m and n is 3 or 4; and the pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof. These compounds are useful as antihypertensive agents.
