Abstract

Compounds corresponding to the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents an aromatic group, and PA1 R.sup.2 represents H, alkyl, alkenyl, aryl or acyl, are suitable ED precursor compounds for use in color photographic recording materials. They are preferably used in combination with reducible dye releasers. They are also suitable as so-called scavengers.
