Abstract
A high explosive composition comprising PA1 2 to 57% ammonium nitrate PA1 2 to 50% ethylenediamine dinitrate PA1 1 to 10% potassium nitrate PA1 1 to 80% nitroguanidine These explosive compositions possess physical and explosive properties corable to those of explosive compositions based on TNT (2,4,6-trinitrotoluene); but they are relatively insensitive and less costly to manufacture and can be loaded into projectiles with existing melt/cast loading facilities.
