Abstract

The present invention provides a process for the detection or determination of fibrin monomer in biological fluids, wherein the sample fluid is incubated with hydrophobic latex and the agglutination determined. The present invention also provides a reagent for the detection or determination of fibrin or fibrin monomer in biological fluids, wherein it contains hydrophobic latex.
