Abstract

An electrical device having a nonlinear current-voltage characteristic is described which uses TiO.sub.2, a Group IIA element such as barium, calcium and strontium in an amount greater than 0.0 and generally less than approximately 1.0 mole percent, a Group VB element such as niobium in an amount generally less than 5.0 mole percent.
