Abstract

The hydroconversion of a heavy hydrocarbon charge containing asphaltenes and metal, sulfur and nitrogen impurities is performed in the presence of a catalyst comprising: PA0 (a) soot particles of the cenosphere type PA0 (b) a compound of a metal selected from the groups V B, VI B, VII B and VIII of the periodic classification.
