Abstract
Group VIII noble metal catalysts, useful for hydrogenation, are manufactured by: PA1 (a) -impregnating a catalyst carrier with a solution of a group VIII noble metal acetylacetonate in an organic solvent, and PA1 (b) -heating the impregnated carrier in an oxygen atmosphere.
