Abstract

Pyridinecarbinols of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is hydrogen or alkyl, R.sup.2 is alkyl or alkenyl, and R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are hydrogen, chlorine, bromine, fluorine or alkyl, plant-physiologically tolerated addition salts of these compounds with acids, and fungicides containing these compounds.
