Abstract

Compounds having the general formula: ##STR1## in which R denotes hydrogen, a lower alkyl, lower hydroxyalkyl or lower polyhydroxyalkyl radical or alternatively an alkyl, hydroxyalkyl or polyhydroxyalkyl radical in which the alkyl chain is interrupted by one or more hetero-atoms such as oxygen are described. These compounds can be used in dyeing compositions for keratin fibres and wavesetting lotions. They make it possible to obtain very strong shades.
