Abstract

A 1-phenyl-2-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-prop-2-en-1-one of the formula ##STR1## in which R is methyl, ethyl, isopropyl, alkyl with more than 3 carbon atoms, optionally substituted cycloalkyl, optionally substituted cycloalkenyl, optionally substituted alkenyl, optionally substituted alkynyl, optionally substituted phenoxyphenyl, or phenylalkyl which is optionally substituted in the alkyl part and/or in the phenyl part, PA0 X each independently is halogen, optionally substituted phenyl or optionally substituted phenoxy, and PA0 n is 0, 1, 2 or 3, or an addition product thereof with a physiologically acceptable acid or a metal salt which possesses fungicidal activity.
