Abstract
A method of forming a photographic image which comprises development processing with an alkaline activator solution a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon at least one surface latent image type silver halide emulsion layer, and containing in at least one layer selected from the silver halide emulsion layer and another hydrophilic colloid layer PA1 (1) a developing agents; PA1 (2) an acylhydrazine compound represented by formula (I): EQU R.sup.1 NHNHCOR.sup.2 (I) wherein R.sup.1 represents an unsubstituted or substituted aryl group or alkyl group; and R.sup.2 represents a hydrogen atom, or an unsubstituted or substituted aryl group or alkyl group; and PA1 (3) at least one compound represented by formula (II): ##STR1## wherein each of W.sup.1 and W.sup.2 can represent a hydrogen atom or an aliphatic group or W.sup.1 and W.sup.2 are bonded each other to form a ring; W.sup.3 represents a divalent aliphatic group; Q.sup.1 represents a simple bond or a divalent heterocyclic group containing a nitrogen atom, an oxygen atom, or a sulfur atom; and M represents a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal atom, an alkaline earth metal atom, a quarternar…
