Abstract
A method for making alpha,omega-bis-fluorosulfatoperfluoroalkanes by reacting a perfluorinated alpha-olefin with peroxodisulfuryl difluoride in the liquid phase, and compounds of the formula EQU FSO.sub.2 -O-(CF.sub.2 -CF.sub.2).sub.n -O-SO.sub.2 F, useful as intermediates in making polymers.
