Abstract
The invention deals with novel peptides useful in the therapeutic treatment of infectious diseases caused by pathogenic microorganisms having the structure: ##STR1## wherein, R.sup.1 is hydrogen or acyl, PA1 R.sup.2 is lower alkyl, PA1 R.sup.3 is carboxy or protected carboxy, PA1 R.sup.4 is hydrogen or lower alkyl, PA1 R.sup.5 is hydrogen, alkyl or ar(lower)alkyl, PA1 R.sup.6 is carboxy or protected carboxy, and PA1 R.sup.7 is hydrogen or an amino protective group, and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts.
